What are some of the events that you manage?

Soflo Vegans Drink invites the South Florida community to enjoy a happy hour at a local bar, while raising awareness for animal rights. We also want to show businesses that there is a strong vegan community here in South Florida. As our audience increases, this will help add more vegan options on menus throughout the area.

Soflo Vegans Unite is a monthly open forum where the South Florida plant-based community can come together to network, share their projects and learn about what’s happening with Soflo Vegans. We also featuring a different food sponsor at our meetings to provide our guests with delicious treats. Another major component is encourage non-vegans to attend to learn more about the plant-based lifestyle.

Soflo Vegans Eat creates a one of a kind VIP experience for our members at vegan restaurants throughout South Florida. Our goal is to help newer restaurants by raising awareness through both the event and a produced video segment, hosted by a prominent South Florida vegan influencer.

Soflo Vegans Explore is an outdoor adventure that encourages our community to go one on one with mother nature. Our adventures will include kayaking, scuba diving or even sky diving. Additionally, we want to raise awareness about conservation and sustainability by providing an educational component to each event.

Soflo Vegans Festival is an annual event that invites all of our partners, members and the South Florida vegan community to celebrate all of the components of a plant based lifestyle. This includes food, fitness, mindfulness, environmental protection and sustainability and advocating for animal rights. Our goal is to make this an inclusive event that helps raise awareness to all of the components of being vegan. Also, we want to make our event memorable by incorporating live entertainment and activities for all ages.

How are you showing that partnerships are working?

Reports will be delivered at the end of each month showing partners the performance of their featured page and click-throughs of all links going to their website. We will also share the growth of our audience and overall distribution (Digital Cookbook, Magazine Ads, Facebook Ads, AdWord Campaigns, Influencers, etc.), representing overall impressions of our organization.

Our goal is to grow our audience by producing quality content on a daily basis. As our community grows, so will the impressions and the overall value of being a partner of our website. This also represents a prime opportunity for our partners to deliver samples and direct offers that will help for better conversions. Long gone are the days when people are clicking on banner ads. Our focus is to integrate our partners into the community in an authentic way. What makes us unique is that we are both a content creator and community. We are building the audience that is consuming our content.

How quickly can you get partners featured on the site once they register?
Immediately. We build out their presence before their start date to avoid any last minute hiccups.
How do you plan on using the funds to build traffic?
We plan on utilizing ads on Facebook, Google and Instagram to promote our content and events. Additionally, we’ve established partnerships with local radio, television and magazine publishers to promote on their platforms. We also have other organic methods to build traffic that deal directly with our strategy of creating and curating both media content and a community.
What’s the digital cook book and where can I find it?
We are in the beginning stages of building developing our cookbook. This includes putting together a committee of vegan chefs from South Florida to help develop content. It is slated to debut in the Spring of 2018 and will be released on a quarterly basis. There will also be a section of the site that has stand alone recipes and video features.
What’s the Soflo Vegans podcast?

Our podcast is currently under production and will feature the voices of South Florida’s vegan community. It will be comprised of short news clips that showcase events, businesses and individuals making a difference in our community.
